Memorial Funeral Home’s staff will walk and raise money for the Potter League for Animals on Sunday, October 24!

Animal lovers from across Rhode Island will walk to save lives at Fort Adams in Newport, Rhode Island.

This will be Potter League’s 32nd annual walk. There will also be music, a sponsor & vendor marketplace (AKA, the “Flea-less Marketplace”), food trucks, and special activities for dogs and kids.

According to the Potter League’s website, the “Heart & Sole Walk for Animals is our biggest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds helping to save the lives of thousands of animals in our community with programs such as foster care, spay/neuter, adoptions, animal rescue, affordable veterinary care and more.”

There will be an opportunity to compete for to be the Top Fundraiser or Top Fundraising Team! All registered walkers who raise $50 will receive a t-shirt and a selection of prizes based on their fundraising total.

Funds raised by walkers are used to find homes for pets and provide much needed services to those who love them. We could not be more excited to participate and feel free to join us!
