Middletown, RI ? A. Marion Smith Kelly, 93, 10 Harvard Street, Newport, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI.She was the wife of the late J. Raymond Kelly. Born in Fall River, MA on November 11, 1911, she was the daughter of William C. and Annie E. Navin Smith. Mrs. Kelly was a graduate of the Bridgewater Normal School of Bridgewater, MA. She taught Elementary School in Exeter, RI for 10 years, retiring in 1973. Mrs. Kelly was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, St. Joseph Rosary and Altar Society, the Edward King Senior Center, the Rhode Island Retired Teachers Association and the Newport County Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by four daughters Ann M. Vorro and Patricia M. Lemler both of Middletown, RI, Kathleen M. Taylor of Crofton, MD, and Mary K. Silvia of Newport, RI, seven granddaughters, seven grandsons, seven great granddaughters and four great grandsons.She was the sister of the late Harriett L. Kelly and Margaret L. Whitford.Her funeral will be held on Friday, December 31, 2004, at 9:00AM, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM, in St. Josephs Church, Broadway And Mann Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
