- Agnes C. ?Mickey? Moran Simonds, 77, of 3 Red Fox Lane, Flagler Beach, FL, formerly of Lindenhurst, NY, died Monday, April 8, 2002 at the home of her daughter.She was the wife of the late Joseph R Simonds. Born in Troy, NY on September 21, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Sinnott Moran.Mrs. Simonds worked for Cluett Peabody in Troy, NY before moving to Long Island, NY. She was a retail employee for many years at Martins and Stern?s Department Stores retiring in 1991. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetural Help Church, Lindenhust, NY and a member of Good Samaritans Hospital Guild before moving to Flagler Beach, FL in 1992. She was a communicant of Santa Maria delMar Church in Flagler Beach and a member and past president of the Womens Club. She enjoyed donating her time in community service projects and fund raising for her church. She is survived by two sons, Michael Simonds of Long Island, NY, and Tim Simonds of Jacksonville, FL, her daughter Nancy Sunderland of Portsmouth, RI, two sisters Mary Alice Kennedy and Bertha Buher both of Troy, NY, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was the mother of the late Patrick Simonds and the sister of the late Richard Moran, John Moran and Margaret Rochford. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2002, at 11:00 AM in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
