Alan David Golash

Newport, RI - Alan David Golash, 53, formerly of Springfield, MA and Portland, ME, died on March 10, 2006 in Newport, RI, his home for the past several years. Alan was the son of Sabina Orlinski Golash of Washington, D.C. and the late Leo J. Golash Jr.He is survived by his two brothers, Kenneth Golash of Chicopee, MA and Christopher Golash of Orange, MA and his sister Susan Carr of MN.Alan attended Technical High School, Springfield, MA and graduated from Hargrave Military Acacemy, Chatham, VA. He completed his apprenticeship with Hershon Jewelers and owned his own jewelry businesses, in Springfield, then Portland and operated A. David Golas Jewelers in Newport, RI for the past 15 years. A memorial service will be held in Springfield, MA at a date to be announced. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of one?s own choice.
