Albert T. Tifft

Albert T. Tifft Middletown, RI - Albert T. Tifft, 91, of 20 Rosa Road, Middletown, RI, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on May 10, 1918, he was the son of the late Arthur T. and Rose Schulz Tifft. Mr. Tifft went through the Newport Schools and lived on the Island all his life. He worked as a printer for over fifty years at Ward Printers, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed hobbies including automobiles and master carpentry. Mr. Tifft is survived by his niece Susan E. Hall of Saunderstown and longtime friend Kristen Hazlewood of North Kingstown, as well as cousins Paul Schulz, Edith Matthews and Lillian Johnson. He was brother of the late Doris Tifft.
