Alexandria Joan Ouellette

Alexandria Joan (Piermont) Ouellette, 79, of Portsmouth, RI, died on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at St. Elizabeth's Manor in Bristol, RI. She was the wife of Charles W. Ouellette.Born in Newport, RI on September 19, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Alexandria (Flowers) Piermont.Mrs. Ouellette was a graduate of the Community College of Rhode Island where she received her Associates Degree. A Master Gardner, she was a member of the Portsmouth Garden Club. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, cooking, travel and anything Newport.In addition to her husband of 52 years, she is survived by her sons, Christian M. Ouellette of Warren, RI and Justin M. Ouellette of Chandler, AZ; her brother, Anthony Piermont of Portsmouth, RI; and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Jacqueline, Nicolas and Maxwell Ouellette. She was the sister of the late Nicholas Piermont.Funeral services and burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Portsmouth Senior Citizens Center, 110 Bristol Ferry Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
