Alfred Dennis ?A.D.? Silvia, III, 18, of 8 Leal Terrace Newport, died Monday, March 11, 2002 at home.Born in Newport, RI on October 7, 1983, he was the son of Alfred Dennis ?Al? Silvia Jr. of Newport and Maria L. Escobar Silvia-Deveau of Newport. Mr. Silvia attended Cluny School, Bishop Connolly School, where he was on the Soccer Team and most recently Rogers High School Class of 2002, where he was in the R.O.T.C. He was the youngest member of the International Norton Owners Association and a member of V.I.C.A. Mr. Silvia worked part time at the Professional Security Services in Tiverton. Besides his parents he is survived by his step father Charles Deveau of Newport, RI, his paternal grandmother Alice Silvia of Portsmouth, RI, his maternal grandfather Jose P. Escobar of New Bedford, MA, his brother Andrew J Silvia of Newport, RI, his step brother David Deveau of Andrews Island, Bahamas, his step sister Kathleen Rothstein of Tiverton, RI, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. His funeral will be held on Friday, March 15, 2002 at 2:00 PM in the United Baptist Church, 30 Spring Street, Newport. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth.
