Alice Baxter

Alice (Lindh) Baxter, 95, of Portsmouth died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Forest Farm Health Care Center in Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late John E. Baxter.Born on April 20, 1920 in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Anna (Anderson) Lindh. Mrs. Baxter was a member of Friends Evangelical Church in Portsmouth, RI.She is survived by her children, John E. Baxter of New Concord, OH, Elizabeth Ann Baxter and Lynn M. Munroe of Tiverton, RI, her brother Eskil Lindh of Middletown, RI, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Carl Lindh, Alvar Lindh, Hilma Blomberg, Amelia Flohr, Edith Anderson and Martha Costello.At the family's request all services are private.
