Alice E. Francz

Portsmouth, RI - Alice Eva Latulippe Francz, 82, of Cove Street, Portsmouth, RI, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at Newport Hospital after a short illness.She was the wife of the late Frank Francz.Born in Fall River, MA on March 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lena Latulippe.Mrs. Francz was employed in Fall River by a dress manufacturing co., she later worked in an adult group home and also helped care for many children in the Portsmouth area. She enjoyed traveling, her neighbors and good friends. Alice loved to sit on her porch in her rocking chair greeting everyone that passed by. Special thanks to Polly and her husband, Jean, Sharon and John.She is survived by her daughter Denise Garceau and her husband David of Portsmouth, RI.She was the sister of the late Arthur and Louis Latulippe and Bernadette Tibbits.Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 19, 2010, from 4-8pm in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at 9:00 am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
