Alice Louise Campbell

Middletown, - Alice Louise Jones Campbell, 90, of 333 Green End Avenue Middletown, formerly of 131 Third Street, Newport, died Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at Grand Islander Health Care Center Middletown, RI.She was the wife of the late James R. Campbell. Born in Freehold, NJ on November 5, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Amanda Shemow Jones.Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Marion J. Brown Visitation Committee, and the Missionary Society of the Community Baptist Church. She was a Honorary Deacon and Senior Choir member at the Community Baptist Church. Mrs. Campbell was also a foster grandparent. She is survived by her daughter Joan T. Minor of Newport, RI, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2003, at 11:00 AM in Community Baptist Church, 50 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
