Portsmouth, RI - Alice Margaret Johnsen Lundsten, 78, of 5 Arrowhead Lane, Portsmouth, RI, formerly of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at St. Annes Hospital, Fall River, MA. She was the wife of Robert Allen Lundsten. Born in Arendal, Norway, on August 31, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Alf and Ingeborg Marcussen Johnsen.Mrs. Lundsten was a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton, New Jersey. She was a Girl Scout Leader. She was active in the choir and played in the Salvation Army Band and also a taught Sunday school. She made beautiful needle work and enjoyed ceramics. Besides her husband of 58 years, she was the beloved mother of Diane E. Hough of Lincoln Park, NJ, Cynthia K. Brown of Portsmouth, RI, and Elaine M. Lundsten of Sandusky, OH, her grandchildren, James Hough of Clifton, NJ, Kristin Cosper of Marlton, NJ, Jeremy Brown of Pittsburg, NH, Nicholas Brown of Portsmouth, RI and Emily Brown of Boston, MA, and her great grandchildren Elijah Brown of Portsmouth, RI, Kaitlyn Cosper of Marlton, NJ, Julianna Hough of Clifton, NJ and Margaret Brown of Pittsburg, NH. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be private.
