Alice Sara Williams

Middletown, RI - Alice S. Morris Williams, 91, of 191 Forest Avenue Apt. 121, Middletown, RI, formerly of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Erville W. Williams. Born in Providence, RI, on April 13, 1915, she was the daughter of the late William and Jessica McNeil Morris.Mrs. Williams was a bookeeper for many years for Shepard Co. of Providence, RI and she also worked as a real estate broker on Cape Cod for many years. She was a communicant of St. Lucys Church and Holy Trinity on Cape Cod. She was a member of the Edward King House, a former member of the rosary sodality at Holy Trintiy, and a member of the dance club at the senior center in Dennisport, MA. she was an avid sewer, reader, dancer and bridge player. She is survived by her son Richard Joseph Williams of Mashpee, MA, and her daughter Paula Mary Wallace and her husband Robert of Portsmouth, RI, her brother William and his wife Mary Morris of Cranston, RI, Raymond and his wife Jane Morris of Yarmouth, MA, and John Morris of North Kingstown, RI, her grandchildren Shawn Patrick Wallace and his wife Jill of Providence, RI, and Erin Kathleen Babcock and her husband Tyler of SanDiego, CA, and her great granddaughter Louise Mabel Wallace of Providence, RI. She was the sister of the late James Morris, Joseph Morris, Elizabeth Bellayuto, Mary Catherine Myers and Mary Frances Norton. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at 8:00 am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2006, from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
