Newport, RI - Alphonzo Zeigler, 51, of 90 Girard Avenue, Newport, RI, formerly of Chadwick Street, died Monday, April 21, 2008 at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of his beloved wife Tami Marie Litterio Zeigler. Born in Newport, RI on August 19, 1956, he was the son of Marie Jones Zeigler of Newport, RI and the late Charlie Zeigler. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his children Antez, Calvin, Lakia and Tatiana-Alzia Zeigler all of Newport, RI, his grandchildren, Antezia, Alyssa, Antez, Jr., Ny-jinah, Preious, Calvin, Jr., Calyko and Jenalyce Zeigler all of Newport, RI, his brother Tom Zeigler of Prosper, TX and his sister Ann Marie Zeigler Spencer of Baltimore, MD.He was the brother of the late Charlie Zeigler, Jr. His funeral will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 11:00 am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, 9-11am in the funeral home.
