WARREN, RI - Ana Adelina Escobar, 93, of Metacom Ave, Warren, RI formerly of 7 Harbor View, Middletown, RI, died Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Haven Health Center, Warren, RI. She was the wife of the late Francisco P. Escobar Born in Fayal, Azores on July 17, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Philomena Garcia Moitoza. Mrs. Escobar was a member of Jesus Saviour Church and the Rosary Altar Soldity. She is survived by her son Manuel Escobar and his wife Frances of Portsmouth, RI, her two sisters Zulmira Garcia of Middletown, and Zoelinda Vargas of Pawtucket, four grandchildren Manuel Escobar of Middletown, David Escobar of Conway, SC, Michael Escobar of Middletown, and Suzanne Bang of Portsmouth and six great granddaughters Lacy, Brittney, Kayla, Adrianna, Cheyenne, and Sierra. She is preceded in death by four brothers Joseph, Henry, Edward, and Manuel Moitoza, and a sister Maria Garcia. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 9, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 8, from 5-7 in the Memorial Funeral Home.
