Angela M. Mcdonnell

Newport, - Angela M. Ferrazzoli McDonnell, 79, of 45 East Bowery Street Newport, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center Providence, RI.She was the wife of Edwin F. McDonnell who on December 27, 2002 were married for 50 years. Born in Newport, RI on April 27, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Jennie Perrotta Ferrazzoli.Mrs. McDonnell was a telephone operator and supervisor for New England Telephone Company and later was a receptionist at Vernon Junior College, Aquidneck Medical Center and Salve Regina College. She was a life long member of St. Marys Church. Besides her husband of 50 years she was the beloved mother of Edwin D. McDonnell of Newport, RI, Steven McDonnell of Pittsburg, PA, Stella Vrablic of Wanchese, NC, and Angela T. Oaklund of North Kingstown, RI, the sister of Theresa Salter of Newport, RI, and ten grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Joseph Ferrazzoli and Mary G. Ferrazzoli. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2003, at 8:00 AM from the Hambly Funeral Home Brick House, 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 09:00 AM in St. Marys Church, Spring Street, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown. Donations in her memory may be made to the St. Marys Church Building Fund, Spring Street, Newport, RI 02840.
