Angelica Marie Correira

NEWPORT, RI - Angelica Marie Correira, 19, of 35 Park Holm, Newport, RI, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Newport, RI on September 27, 1987, she was the daughter of Robert Pollitt and Dawn Correira. Angelica brought to this world much joy and laughter to all those around her. Her love for life was contagious and she always made people smile. Angelica enjoyed coloring, listening to music, swimming and watching television, but most of all she loved stuffed animals. Besides her parents she is survived by her grandmother Carol L. Manchester of Newport, RI, with whom Angelica lived with and was taken care of by since she was a baby, her paternal grandparents Robert Pollitt and his wife Ellie of Newport, RI, and Dolores Bailey of Las Vegas, NV, her brother Taylor J. Correira of Newport, RI, her half sister Christine Pollitt of Everett, MA, her uncles Angelo R. Correira IV, Nicholas and Howard Pollitt, all of Newport and her cousin Angelo R. Correira V. She was the granddaughter of the late John Lauretta Chase Gomes. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2006, at 11:00am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 3, 2006, from 4-8 pm in the funeral home.
