Ann B. Seveney

Portsmouth, RI ? Ann B. Seveney, 73, of 72 Macomber Lane, Portsmouth, RI, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI after a short illness. She was the loving wife of the late Gardner F. Seveney. Born in Fall River, MA on October 2, 1932, she was the daughter of Annie Beatrice Bea Pearson and Arthur Wallace. Ann was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy of Fall River. A long-time Portsmouth resident, she worked for many years in the Portsmouth School system, and was an active member of the Portsmouth Democratic Womens? Club.She is survived by her three sons, James of Portsmouth, Christopher, and Jonathan, both of Houston, Texas, and her daughters-in-law, Valerie, Jean and Michelle. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Lauren, Abigayle, and Brennah, and a close cousin, Earl Dinsmore of Silver Spring, Md. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthonys Church, East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Portsmouth Cemetery, Turnpike Ave, Portsmouth.
