Ann Underwood

Tiverton, RI - Ann Underwood, of 39 Island View Drive, Tiverton, RI, died Monday, December 21, 2009 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late L. Lloyd Underwood. Born in Fall River, MA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Truchon Renaud.Mrs. Underwood worked as a tour guide for the Newport Preservation Society for 30 years. She was a communicant of St. Christophers Church. Ann was a member of the Friends of St. Annes Hospital and was a generous donor to the Robert Potter League for Animals and Forever Paws. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Ceglie and her husband Vincent of Newport, RI, her sister Irene Ebbitt of Middletown, RI, her niece Joanne Armenia of Newport, RI, and her grandchildren, Mia and Chase Ceglie of Newport, RI. Her funeral will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009, at 10:00 am in St. Christophers Church, 1584 Main Road, Tiverton.Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Tiverton.At the familys request calling hours are omitted.
