Anna H. Ledoux

Middletown, RI - Anna Hicks Ledoux, 81, of 3 Wood Road, Middletown, died Thursday, September 16, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Philip G Ledoux. Born in Newport, RI on November 26, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Ralph M. and Gladys Lawton Hicks. Mrs. Ledoux worked at the Newport Oil Company for 7 years as a credit manager. She was a former member of the Edward King Senior Citizens Center and taught ceramics there for 9 years. She is survived by her son Philip G. Ledoux Jr. of Cromwell, CT, a daughter Ann E. Balian of Huntington Beach, CA, two sisters Barbara Lawrence of Newport, RI and Mary McKinnon of Alamo, TX, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren.She was the mother of the late Lynnette M. Ledoux and Phyllis Metz, and the sister of the late Ralph Hicks and Joseph Hicks.Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 20, 2004, at 8:00AM, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00AM, in St. Josephs Church, Broadway And Mann Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 222 Richmond Street, Providence, RI 02903.
