Anne Catherine Christensen

Anne C. McDonald Christensen, 74, of 39 Quail Road, Portsmouth, formerly of 85 Linda Terrace, Portsmouth, died Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of Forrest William Christensen of Portsmouth. Born in Dorcester, MA on April 29, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Agnes Conlon McDonald. Mrs. Christensen was a graduate of Chandler School in Boston. She had been very active in St. Barnabas Church activities in the past. She was also active in the St. Philomena School Parent Association. Besides her husband she is survived by her son Eric John Christensen of Newport, RI, two daughters Diane Christine Christensen of Richmond, RI, and Madeline Anne Oliver of Attleboro, MA, her brother David Paul McDonald of Randolph, MA, her sister Helen M. Foote of Aurora, IL, and two grandchildren.She was the sister of the late John James McDonald. Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 26, 2002, at 10:00 AM in St. John The Evangelist, 841 Shore Road, Pocasset, MA. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
