Tiverton, RI ? Anne M. Bailey Taylor, 82, of Sakonnet Bay Manor, Tiverton, RI, formerly of 70 Everett Street, Middletown, RI, died Monday, April 10, 2006 at John Clarke Retirement Center, Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Donald William Taylor. Born in Warwick, RI on August 25, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Isabella Meek Bailey.Mrs. Taylor traveled with her late husband Donald, who was a career Naval Officer. During her life she worked at various jobs in Rhode Island, including a secretary for a law firm in Providence, a nursery school teacher at the Newport Naval Base and a public relations person for the Newport Chamber of Commerce. Anne was a past member of the Mosaic Club of Newport. She is survived by her daughter Linda A. Taylor-Cornell of South Dartmouth, MA, and her sisters Ethel Bogosian of North Kingstown, RI, and Bessie Boudrow of Jacksonville, NC. She was the mother of the late Janet Lee Taylor-Harvey and the sister of the late George Bailey, Milton Bailey, William Bailey, Dorothy Bailey and Eleanor Bailey. Her funeral will be private.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2006, from 2-4 and 7-9 in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
