Anne T. Fredette

Portsmouth, RI - Anne T. Hudson Fredette, 89, formerly of 51 Middle Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at St. Clare Home, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Norman C. Fredette. Born in New Bedford, MA on April 18, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Anne Walsh Hudson.Mrs. Fredette worked as a retail clerk for 44 years, retiring in 1981.She was a member of St. Anthonys Church, St. Marys Senior Citizens in Fairhaven, MA and the Anthony House Association. She was also a former member of King House in Newport. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Medeiros and her husband, Anthony and Patricia L. Rodrigues and her husband, Henry, both of Portsmouth, RI, her grandchildren, Anthony Medeiros, II of Scottsdale, AZ, Annmarie Higgins, Michael Rodrigues and Mark Rodrigues, all of Portsmouth, RI and Matthew Rodrigues of Los Angeles, CA, and her great grandchildren, Sarah Medeiros, Christopher Medeiros, Jamie Higgins, Annie Higgins, Noah Rodrigues, Henry Rodrigues, Landon Rodrigues, Joey Rodrigues, Nicole Rodrigues, Kyle Rodrigues and Andrew Rodrigues.She was the grandmother of the late David Medeiros. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 8:00 am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Route 6, Kempton Street, New Bedford, MA.Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 30, 2007 from 4-7 in the funeral home.
