Annette M. Deforest

Portsmouth, RI - Annette M. Fontaine DeForest, 63, of 139 Lambie Circle Portsmouth, RI, died Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of Delbert DeForest. Born in Cavite, Philippines, on June 18, 1940, she was the daughter of the late retired Navy Lt. Cmdr. Leo Fontaine and the late Mary Grady Fontaine. Mrs. DeForest began her career as a computer operator and rose to the position of Manager of Computer Operations at Raytheon?s Portsmouth RI facility before retiring in 2000. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons Arthur Manuel of Bristol, RI, and Wade DeForest of Edgartown, MA, two daughters Christine Lepore of Portsmouth, RI and Laura Dutra of Newport, RI, her sister Irene Ruth of Winchester, NH and three grandchildren Kevin Manuel and Lauren Manuel both of Bristol, RI and Derek Lepore of Portsmouth, RI.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2003, 10:00 AM in St. Peters Lutheran Church, 525 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth.Donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association, 1740 Broadway, New York, NY 10014.Arrangements are by the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
