Middletown, RI - Annie Frank Crabb Williams, 77, of 5 Champlin Terrace, Middletown, RI, died Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI.She was the wife of Constant A. Williams. Born in Opelika, AL on September 27, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Minnie David Crabb.Mrs. Williams had worked as a nurse in private duty and at Newport Hospital and for the James L. Maher Center for 39 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church, where she served as the past President of the Marion J. Brown Visitation Ministry and was a member of the Senior Choir. She enjoyed gardening, needle crafts and music. Besides her husband she is survived by a son David A. Williams of Middletown, CT, a daughter Kim Adele Boulden and her husband Leonardo of Moseley, VA, three brothers James Crabb of Auburn, AL, Homer Crabb of Dadeville, AL, and Jack Crabb of Opelika, AL, two sisters Ellen Green of Champagne, IL, and Dorothy Henry of Brimingham, AL, and two grandchildren Chelsey Boulden and Kellen Boulden both of Moseley, VA. She was also the sister of the late Calvin Crabb, Virginia Crabb, and Mary Cox.Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009, at 11:00 am in the Community Baptist Church, 50 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard, Newport.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held Thursday, February 26, 2009, from 7-9pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Memorial donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA, 02115.
