Annie Roderick

MIDDLETOWN, RI - Annie M. Roderick, 98, of 174 Bliss Road, Middletown, RI died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Middletown, RI on January 8, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Manuel R. and Mary Medeiros Roderick. Miss Roderick was a caregiver to various families and households around Aquidneck Island, including Lauderdale Leys, she had also been a housekeeper as well. She was a member of Jesus Saviour Church, Newport. She is survived by her sister Roselina Simas of Middletown, RI, Godson Kevin Kendrick of Middletown, RI, his wife Kathleen Kendrick and their children, Timothy Kendrick of Keene, NH and Stephanie Kendrick of Middletown, RI, several nieces and nephews, and her faithful companions Dakota Harley. She was the sister of the late Emily Ferreira, Joseph Roderick, Manuel Roderick.Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 8, 2005 at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2005, from 6-8 pm in the Funeral Home.
