Annis Mary Wilson

Newport, RI - Annis Mary Rondina Wilson, 97, of Dartmouth Street, Newport, RI, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Village House Nursing Home, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late William E. Wilson. Born in Fano, Italy, on October 26, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Getulio and Virginia Tombari Rondina, she lived in Newport all of her life. Mrs. Wilson worked as a domestic for several Newport area families for many years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph?s Church. She leaves a daughter, Virginia Polek of Newport, RI, a granddaughter, Christine Polek of Scituate, MA, a grandson, John Polek of New York City, two great-grandsons, Wyatt and Boden Harris, and two nephews, John Arruda and Philip Rondina. She was the mother of the late William E. Wilson, Jr. and sister of the late Rose Arruda, Mary Rondina, Emma Champlin, Jean Norvell and Philip Rondina. Her funeral will be private.
