Anthony Eugene Prisco

Newport, RI - Anthony Eugene ?Gene? Prisco, 77, of Pond Avenue, Newport, died Monday, June 14, 2004 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center Newport, RI.He was the husband of the late Ellen Gertrude Edwards Prisco. Born in Boston, MA on May 16, 1927, he was the son of the late Anthony and Gladys Fortini Prisco.Mr. Prisco served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked for many years as a security guard at NUSC until 2002.Mr. Prisco was a life member of the VFW. He is survived by two daughters Sandra Vincent and Kelly Blais both of Newport, RI, his companion Edith Braman of Newport, RI, two brothers Dominic Prisco of Virginia and James MacDonald of California, two sisters Gloria Miller of Seattle, WA, DC, and Alice McCormick of Holbrook, MA, six grandchildren and one great grandson.He was the father of the late Betty Ann Beck and the brother of the late Arthur Prisco.A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2004, at 11:00AM in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI.Arrangements are by the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
