Anthony Joseph Salveti MIDDLETOWN, RI - Anthony Joseph Salveti, 82, of 41 Perry Avenue, Middletown, RI died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at home. He was the beloved husband of Mary T. Salveti. Born in Brooklyn, NY on Jan. 17, 1923, he was the son of the late Vincent and Clarinda Daniello Salveti. Mr. Salveti was a WWII Navy Veteran. In 1958, Mr. Salveti was the coowner and operator of Anchor Electronics. In 1961 he started Star Sales and Service of Middletown retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Marys Church. Mr. Salveti liked to work with wood building things and was an avid gardener. Besides his wife he leaves two sons Vincent M. Salveti of Portsmouth, RI, John Salveti of Green Acres, WA, Five daughters Jean M. Salveti of Newport, RI, Loretta C. Santangelo of Coral Springs, FL, Theresa M. Paquin of Middletown, RI, Patricia A. Sousa Cooper of Middletown, RI, Maureen B. Esarey of Naples, FL, two brothers Domenico Salveti of Clearwater, FL, Erasmus Salveti of Fresh Meadows, NY, two sisters Florinda Pro of McClain, VA, Emma McGrath of NY. He also leaves 11 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildrenHe was brother of the late Louise Salveti and Helen Williams.His funeral will be held Monday October 3, 2005 at 9:00AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in St. Marys Church, Spring Street, Newport.Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be in the funeral home Sunday from 4-8PM.
