Anthony Peter Coute

Newport, - Anthony Peter Coute, 54, of 24 Halsey Street Newport, formerly of 48 Gould Street, Newport, died Sunday, April 13, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.. Born in Newport, RI on August 28, 1948, he was the son of Marie Alice Janeiro Coute of Newport and the late Antone Peter Coute.Mr. Coute was an Auto Body Repairman with Aquidneck Collision of Portsmouth. He attended Rogers High School and was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He worked as an auto body repairman for Aquidneck Collison of Portsmouth, Enterprise, Barry Pontiac and various other auto body shops in the Newport area. Mr. Coute created a reputation in his field of auto body work and restoring old cars that he was sort after for his expertise in the business. He enjoyed salt water fishing and to the car races and auto shows. Besides his mother he leaves four sons Anthony DelRoss, Troy DelRoss and Timothy DelRoss all of Denver, CO, and Joshua A. Coute of Middletown, RI, his sister Lorraine F. Beaumont of Newport, RI, two grandchildren, his niece Tiffany Beaumont of Newport, RI, his great nephew Jonathan Janis of Newport, RI, aunts, uncles and several cousins His funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at 9:00 am in St. Joseph Church, Broadway and Mann Avenue, Newport, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be Private.
