Antone T. Pimental

Antone T. Pimental, of Newport passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 in Newport Hospital.He was the husband of Dorothy (Vigario) Pimental.Born in St. Michel, Azores, he was the son of the late Joseph T. and Mary B. (Correira) Pimental.Mr. Pimental worked as a mechanic for the RI Department of Transportation for many years. He was an avid golfer and former member of Green Valley Country Club. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had his private pilot's license.Besides his wife, he leaves his sister, M. Theresa Santos of Middletown, a niece Marie Pimental and three nephews, William Santos, Michael Santos and John Pimental.
