Portsmouth, - Arthur A. Conway, 81, of Portsmouth, died Saturday, November 26, 2005, at John Clarke Retirement and Nursing Center, 600 Valley Road, Middletown, RI. Born in Schenectady, New York on August 28, 1924, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen Farrel Conway. Mr. Conway was a Human Resource Manager with Raytheon Corporation for 32 years retiring in 1999. Mr. Conway was in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946 serving in World War II. He was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church. Arthur enjoyed fly fishing with his friends throughout New England. Besides his wife Patricia Conway, he is survived by his son Sean Conway of Tiverton, RI, and his daughter Mary Elizabeth King of Scotia, NY, and five grandchildren Emmett Conway, Fiona Conway, Keelan King, Caroline King and Jillian King. His funeral will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2005, at 9:00am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
