Arthur Davis Freeman

Arthur Davis Freeman Jr., 49, Portsmouth, RI, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Providence, RI on Mar. 17, 1961, he was the son of the late Arthur Davis Freeman Sr. and Sarah Shaffer Freeman.Mr Freeman was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, and also enjoyed watching the Boston Celtics. He was a yearly participant in the Rhode Island Special Olympics, competing in the Tennis Ball throw. and loved to go bowling. He had many friends and will be missed dearly by all.He is survived by Mother Sarah Freeman of Green Valley, AZ , sister Martha Freeman of Boulder , CO, Sister Judy Freeman of Arlington, VA, Sister Priscilla Freeman of Sante Fe, NM his niece and nephews, Benjamin, Reed and Kyle Freeman, and Lucia Freeman and many cousins.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 12, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Pauls Episcopal Church 2679 E. Main Rd Portsmouth, RICalling hours will be held from 7pm to 9pm in the Connors Funeral Home 55 W. Main Rd. PortsmouthBurial will be private.
