Arthur Norman Leduc Jr

Portsmouth, RI - Arthur Norman Leduc, Jr., 65, of 102 Mint Water Brook Lane, Portsmouth, died Sunday, August 22, 2004 at home. He was the husband of Judith Seale Leduc. Born in Newport, RI on July 17, 1939, he was the son of Marjorie Silvia Leduc Campbell of Portsmouth, RI and the late Arthur N. Leduc. Mr. Leduc was a bus driver with Bonaza Bus Lines. He was a graduate of De La Salle Academy Class of 1957. Mr. Leduc was also a member of the Newport Lodge of Elks BPOE # 104 and had served in several different positions within the Elks and was a Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Arthur enjoyed playing a round of golf whenever he could and had played on several different golf courses in the area. Whenever he was not playing golf he enjoyed working in his yard and garden with his friend ? King?. Mr. Leduc was a member of the Rhode Island ALLVets of Middletown, RI. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by three sons Stephen J. Leduc - Messina of Tampa, FL, Arthur N. Leduc III of Tampa, FL and Michael P. Coite of Middletown, RI, two daughters Suzanne Garvey of Ludlow, VT and Dawn Pagliaro of Johnston, RI, two sisters Joan Baker of Newport, RI and Beverly Leduc of Middletown, RI, seven grandchildren and several n nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2004, at 10:00AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth. Donations may be made in his memory to the Portsmouth Volunteer Fire Dpt. Rescue Wagon Fund, P.O. Box 806, Portsmouth, RI 02871 or to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
