Aurelio D. Villacorta, 102, of Middletown died Monday, November 2, 2015 at home in Middletown surrounded by family. He was the husband of Hilaria (Ubando) Villacorta.Born on October 15, 1913 in the Philippines, he was the son of the late Bonifacio and Gregoria (Decena) Villacorta. Mr. Villacorta worked for family printing company in the Philippines. He was a member of the Fil-Am Association and enjoyed fishing.Besides his wife of 76 years, he is survived by his children, Lolita V. Maramba, Rafael U. Susan B. Villacorta, Bert U. Marilyn F. Villacorta all of Middletown, Thelma U. Villacorta of Las Vegas, NV, Elsa V. Arthur T. Loyola, Jovan U. Alona P. Villacorta, Angelo U. Priscilla A. Villacorta, Tito U. and Minerva A. Villacorta and Sophie V. Chandler all of Middletown, eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by his two siblings in the Philippines, Hilaria Balolong and Gregorio Cayabyab.Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015, from 4:00-9:00pm in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.His funeral will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at 9:00am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown, RI.
