Barbara A. Barra

Tiverton, - Barbara A. Barra, 59, of 12 Frank Drive Tiverton, died Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at St. Annes Hospital Fall River, MA. She was the wife of Theodore Barra of Tiveron of 40 years. Born in Bridgeport, CT on December 16, 1943, she was the daughter of Alysious M Stoos of Middletown, RI and the late Eleanor Kachinski Stoos. Mrs. Barra was a devoted homemaker and avid doll collector. She is survived by her husband Theodore Barra of Tiverton, RI, and her father Alysious M. Stoos of Middletown, two sons Theodore Barra III of Tiverton, RI, and Michael A. Barra of Middletown, RI, and one daughter Theresa Barra of Tiverton, RI, two brothers Joseph H. and Michael A. Stoos both of Middletown, RI, and three sisters Victoria M. Ripa of Washington, DC, Paula K. Stoos of Middletown, RI, and Anna Braga of Portsmouth, RI, and four Grandchildren: Alexander and Christopher Barra both of Middletown, Joshua Barra and Alyssa Jacyssin both of Tiverton. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Mary Stoos, and a nephew Carl F. Gillies Jr. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at 7:30 PM in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
