Barbara Ann Migliori

Fall River, MA - Barbara Ann Souza Migliori, 59, of 755 Plymouth Avenue, Fall River, MA, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA. She was the wife of James Joseph Migliori. Born in Newport, RI, on May 15, 1946, she was the daughter of Ruth Tibbetts Souza of Newport and the late John P. Souza.Mrs. Migliori worked at the former Trawler Restaurant as a chef from 1970 to 1978. She then went on to work as an intake clerk at the former Edgehill Rehabilitation center until 1985, when she started her own restaurant the former ?Moms Diner? on Hathaway Road in New Bedford, MA, until 1992. Barbara was an avid Elvis fan and collected his memoriablia. Mrs. Migliori also enjoyed playing bingo, but mostly enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Besides her husband of 41 years, she is survived by her children James Migliori Jr. of Buchanan, NC, Michael J. Migliori of Fall River, MA, Theresa A Sylvester of Fall River, MA, and Lynn M. Migliori of Fall River, MA, her brother John Souza Jr of Newport, RI, her sister Mary Perry of Portsmouth, RI, her grandchildren Trevor Migliori of Buchanan, NC, James Migliori III of Westerly, RI, Braydon Migliori of Swansea, MA, Michael J. Migliori Jr. of Fall River, MA, Jennifer Migliori of Fall River, MA, Ashely Migliori of Fall River, MA, Robert Migliori of Fall River, MA, Caprise Migliori of Fall River, MA, Joseph Migliori of Fall River, MA, and her great grandson Adrian Migliori. Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 13, 2006, at 8:00a.m. from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00a.m. in St. Augustins Church, Carroll Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2006, from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. in the Memorial Funeral Home.
