Barbara H. Spotts

CROMWELL, CT ? Barbara H. Allan Spotts, 84, of One MacDonough Place, Middletown, RI died Monday, August 15, 2005, at Haven Health Care, Cromwell, CT. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Spotts. Born in Newport, RI on, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Jane Bloomer Allan. Mrs. Spotts was a graduate of Rogers High School class of 1938 and was retired from the Naval Underwater Systems Center, Newport, where she was a microfilm processor. She is survived by two sons Allan D. Spotts and his wife Karen of Cromwell, CT and Stephen J. Spotts and his wife Jacqueline of El Paso, TX, her grandson Timothy A. Spotts, her niece Anne Allan of Middletown, RI, with whom she once lived, and several other nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John S. Allan Jr. and Jane F. Allan McClure. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2005, at 10:00 AM in St. John The Evangelist, 61 Poplar Street, Newport. Interment will be private.Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 19, 2005, from 6-8pm in the Memorial Funeral Home.
