Barbara Lynn Krensavage

Barbara Krensavage passed away in her home very unexpectedly on Sunday morning of natural causes.She was born on September 3rd 1956 in Boston, Massachusetts as the third of six children, to Dolores J. Carroll of Middletown and the late James Meagher.She moved to Aquidneck Island when she was 13 years old where she furthered her love of the ocean and happily spent the rest of her time. Barbara had the intrinsic will to help anyone and everyone, no matter how small or big there problem; under any circumstances, she always put others before herself. Barbara lived to help everyone who was in need, if it was just a smile to brighten his or her day, or a shoulder to cry on. Some of her fondest memories were the years she spent cooking for elderly at the Village House Nursing Home, and being able to provide happiness and support on the holidays. Barbara was driven by her great maternal instinct and her compassion for all life. She truly touched the lives of everyone she knew.Barbara will eternally be remembered for her deep ability to dispense love unconditionally. Barbara will forever be missed and loved by her adoring husband, Dr. Thaddeus J. Krensavage, and two sons, Michael P. Krensavage, and Tristan J. Krensavage.Barbara's wake will be held on Thursday, August 20th, from 4-8pm at Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.Additionally a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 22nd at 10:00AM in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
