Beatrice M. Duplisea

Portsmouth, RI - Beatrice Mildred Pomeroy Duplisea, 96, of 24 McCorrie Lane, Portsmouth, RI, died Monday, November 28, 2011, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Orrin Booker and the late Irving Duplisea. Born in Hermon, Maine, on December 28, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dora Banks Pomeroy. She is survived by her daughter Clara Louise Cotta and her husband William of Portsmouth, RI, her sisters, Bernice Adams of Hermon, ME, Arlene Brown of Bangor, ME and Eloise Grimes of New Jersey, her granddaughter, Catherine Huling of Portsmouth, RI, her step grandchildren, Billy Cotta and Nora Harris, both of Portsmouth, her great grandchildren, Sarah McGee of Newport, RI and Andrew Huling of Portsmouth, RI, her step great grandson, Chris Cotta of Portsmouth, and her great-great granddaughter, Hannah Rose McGee of Newport, RI. She was the sister of the late Donald Pomeroy, Wayne Pomeroy, Dorothea Leighton, Marjorie Ireland, Pearl Nowell, Geraldine Haley and Jennie Henderson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at 10:00am, in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.
