Beatrice Rounds

Beatrice Seabury Rounds, 92, of 2368 East Main Road, ?Quaker Manor? Portsmouth, formerly of Little Compton, RI, died Tuesday, August 13, 2002 at the Grand Islander Health Care Center, 333 Green End Avenue, Middletown, RI.She was the wife of the late Karlton F. Rounds. Born in Little Compton, RI, on October 20, 1909, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Josephine Burlingame Seabury. Mrs. Rounds had worked as an assebler for General Electric for 20 yerars, retiring in 1973. She was an avid bowler in the General Electric Bowling Team and an avid sports fan. She is survived by three daughters Patricia McCoy of Portsmouth, RI, Carol A. Sinclair of Bristol, RI, and Jean F. Alvernas of Portsmouth, RI, one brother William H. Seabury of Little Compton, RI, one sister Grace A. Simmons of Little Compton, RI, 11 Grandchildren, and 18 Great Grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Susan E. Brayton.A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2002, at 08:30 PM in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be private.
