Bettye Jo Omer

Portsmouth, - Bettye Jo Doyle Omer, 74, of 15 North Drive Portsmouth, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 at home. Born in Park City, KY on Jan. 16, 1930, she was the daughter of Raymond and Mora Brooks Doyle. Mrs. Omer moved to the Newport and Portsmouth area in 1961. She worked for 40 years as a sales manager for the Sunny Acres Mobile Home Park in Portsmouth. She was an avid gardener and race car fan as well as a animal lover. She is survived by three sons Les Borden of McKenzie Bridge, OR, Michael Wayne Borden of Portsmouth, RI, and John Omer of Kalispel, MT, a brother Garnet Doyle of Clarkson, KY, and 3 Grandchildren.Funeral services and burial will be private.
