Beverly A. Freitas

Portsmouth, RI - Beverly A. Freitas, 58, of 160 Cedar Avenue, Portsmouth, RI, formerly of Fall River, MA, died Thursday, August 17, 2006, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA after a short illness. Born in Fall River, MA, on July 20, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothy Heroux Braga. Bev worked at Clements Market in Portsmouth for the last 20 years. For the last several years she worked in the Deli department. She is survived by five sons, Timothy, Brian, Jamie, Christopher and Matthew Freitas all of Portsmouth, RI, two brothers Leonard Braga of Somerset, MA and Alan Braga of Fall River, MA, her sister Joan Lingley of Freedom, ME, and seven grandchildren Marion and Andrew Thompson, Kayla Sullivan, Connor Freitas, and Sarah, Dylan and Michael Freitas. She was the sister of the late Richard Braga. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at 10:00AM, in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 21, 2006, from 6-9pm in the Connors Funeral Home.
