Beverly A. Green Jordan Middletown, RI - Beverly A. Green Jordan, 78, of 15 Beagle Drive, Middletown, RI, formerly of Forest Avenue, Middletown, died Saturday, February 9, 2008, at the Village House Nursing Home, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Alfred Jordan. Born in Newport, RI, on August 27, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Marion Brazil Green.Over the years, Mrs. Jordan worked for several local restaurants. She was also employed by GE before they closed. When she retired she was employed by Stop and Shop as a cashier. Mrs. Jordan was a Communicant of St. Lucys Church. She is survived by three daughters Beverly Werner of Portsmouth, RI, Jo Glenning of Middletown, RI, and Paula Jordan of Portsmouth, RI, a brother Joseph Green of Cocoa Beach, FL, a sister Mae Jordan of Newport, RI, and eight grandchildren, Craig Werner, Stephanie Werner, Adam Davis, Candace McCauley, Clifford Raistrick, Tiffany Raistrick, Daniel Glenning, and Jordan Glenning, and one great grandson Conor. She was also the grandmother of the late Jeffrey Venancio.Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning, February 13, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Memorial Funeral Home.
