John William ?Billy? Toulan, IV, 20, of 69 Nanaquaket Road Tiverton, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 29, 2004 at home. Born in Fall River, MA on November 1, 1983, he was the son of John William Toulan III and Deborah Chace Toulan. Billy Toulan graduated from All Saints Academy. He attended Bishop Stang High School and Tiverton High School. Growing up, he played Pop Warner football for the Sakonnet Schooners, soccer, baseball, and loved playing for East Bay Lacrosse. In the summers he sailed at Tiverton Yacht Club. In high school he played football and golf. Billy was very artistic and was developing his talents in drawing. He is survived by his parents John William Toulan III and Deborah Chace Toulan of Tiverton, RI, grandparents John and Lillian McDermott Toulan of Fall River, MA, and grandfather Leonard S. Chace III of Tiverton, RI, his brothers Christopher and Jamieson Toulan of Tiverton, RI, two uncles Leonard S. Chace IV of Greenville, SC, and Stephen Chace of Tiverton, RI, an aunt Mary Louise Toulan Dunn of Berkeley, MA, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Judith B. Chace. His funeral will be held Wednesday, May 5, at 10:00am in St. Christophers Church, 1584 Main Road, Tiverton. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Tiverton.
