LOWELL, MA ? Bobbie A. Ingram, 76, of 87 Arbor Road, Lowell, MA, formerly of Borger, TX, died Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at Youville Hospital and Rehab Center, Cambridge, MA. He was the husband of Janet Jurista Ingram of Lowell, MA. Born in Pawhuska, OK on September 9, 1928, he was the son of the late Lee and Beulah Holmes Ingram.Mr. Ingram was a program manager and electrical engineer for 40 years in the defense industry. He worked for RCA, Raytheon, Northrop-Page Communications, Wilcox International and Westar Corp, retiring in 1991. Two of Bobbies greatest achievments were working as a program manager at the White Sands Missile Range of NM and at NASA?s Cape Canaveral facility in FL. He was a graduate of the University of Oaklahoma, receiving his BS in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of the White Sands Pioneers Club, MENSA, the Lowell Writers Group and a regular at the Kilkenny Pub of Lowell, MA. Bobbie was a born storyteller, avid reader, computer user, builder of model airplanes, and tinkerer on his metal lathes. Besides his wife of 16 years, he is survived by his daughter Karen Ingram of Nashville, TN, his brothers William Ingram of Magnolia, AR and Raymond Ingram of Borger, TX, his sister Katherine Wright of Amarillo, TX, and his granddaughters Samantha Jackson and Cyndi Jackson both of Huntsville, AL. He was the father of the late Beverly Jackson. His funeral will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2005, at 3:00 PM in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on August 6, 2005, from 2-4pm in the Connors Funeral Home.
