Portsmouth, RI - Brandon Xavier Jarman, 18, of Bristol Ferry Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Providence, RI on March 29, 1994, he was the son of Jared Rapaport and Guillermina Sanchez of Providence, RI. Brandon attended Pleasant View, Kennedy and Springfield Schools in Providence. He played for Mount Pleasant Little League and intramural basketball at Kennedy. After moving, he attended Tiverton Middle School and Portsmouth High School.Besides his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Olga Sanchez, his siblings, Alexander Jarman, Noelle Pierce, Raquel Seaman, Ian Merculieff, Sheila Jarman, and Tamara Johnson, his nieces and nephews, Kinayah, Kinelle, Legacy, and Divine, his uncles and aunts, Horacio Sanchez, Isaac Spragg, Horacio Spragg, Sherwood Jarman, Raymond Skinner, Mark Reilly, Tony Reilly, Vera Reilly, Cynthia Magnett, Lavone Chester, Norma Brooks, Gregory Anthony Brooks and Ernie Brooks, his step-father Paul Seaman, his step-mother Sarah Rappaport, and a host of cousins, and his girlfriend, Ashley Ghirardi. He was the grandson of the late Sophia Camper, and the nephew of the late Pastor Lemuel Chester, II and Denise Mitchell. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, from 5-7pm, followed by his service at 7PM in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.Burial will be private.Donations in his memory may be made to Newport County Mental Health, 127 Johnny Cake Hill Road, Middletown, RI 02842.
