Brenda Gail Brazill Slavens Cesen Newport, RI - Brenda Gail Brazill Slavens Cesen, 62, passed away at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI, after her battle with cancer on September 30, 2008. Born in Newport, RI on August 23, 1946, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith E. Wedmore Brazill of Middletown. Brenda was a graduate of Middletown High School and had been employed at several nursing homes as a certified nursing assistant. She leaves a son Thomas Slavens and his wife Gina of Columbia, MO, her sister Carol J. Bolhouse and her husband Daniel of Sarasota, FL and several nieces, nephews and cousins in RI, California and Massachusetts.She was the sister of the late William R. Brazill and David Richard Brazill.Burial will be private.
