Portsmouth, RI - Brenda J. Gallant, 55, of 10 First Street, Portsmouth, RI, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at home. She was the wife of Arthur Joseph Gallant, Jr. Born in Damariscotta, ME, on July 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Gloria Armstrong.Mrs. Gallant was the customer service manager at Shaw?s for 10 years. She was an auxiliary member of the VFW Post 4487. Besides her husband she is survived by her sons Christopher Bennett and John Bennett both of Livermore Falls, ME, her brothers Richard Armstrong, Eugene Armstrong, and Alfred Armstrong, her sister Barbara Armstrong, and her grandchildren Jessica Bennett, Christine Bennett and James Bennett of Livermore Falls, ME. Her funeral will be private.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007, from 6-8 in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
