Brian L. Barnhart, 53, of Seneca Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Newport Hospital.Born in Binghamton, NY on August 22, 1958, he was the son of Mary E. (Sailors) Barnhart of Portsmouth, RI and the late Sherman S. Barnhart.Brian enjoyed playing guitar and billiards.In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Stephen W. Barnhart and his wife Sally of Concord, NC and Paul D. Barnhart and his wife Kathleen of Syracuse, NY; a nephew, Bradley Barnhart; and a niece, Erin Barnhart.A Celebration of Life Service will be held today, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10:30 am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 am prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth.
