He was born in Newport, RI on December 22, 1957, the son of Louis and Lois Slaiding Martineau. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012, from 4:00-8:00pm in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.His funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 10:00am in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial with military honors will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
